"I called up Monte Folsom team based on the reviews here. I worked with Ray who was nice enough to deal with. I asked for a quote for our home in Treasure Valley. Their quote was better than others I had received so agreed to move ahead. I also requested they give me two quotes for other properties we owned. These came back very competitive as well, so i decided to use them for those as well. I confirmed with Ray that we were good to go and I canceled my other insurance. After a month goes by I find letters in the mail from Farmers. The first was a bill for my primary residence and there was a policy adjustment increasing our rates by $700/year!!! The next two letters were from their underwriters saying they wouldn’t cover our other two properties. No call, no email giving me a heads up that we actually were not going to have State Farm coverage and that price quotes were not going to be honored. Now I had to rapidly find another insurer as my mortgage company had also got the same letters. I called Ray and he had no explanation for why he told me we were covered and in fact we weren’t AND no explanation why our primary had increase by 30% after agreeing to their original quote. I asked Ray to have Monte (owner) call me on numerous occasions but the owner never responded. Incredibly huge waste of time and not enough respect to call your customers to deal with their complaints."

It allows us to be better in how we do things Communication is crucial, and I regret that you did not receive a timely response when you requested to speak with me. My team was great and communicated with you along the way. I take customer concerns very seriously, and it’s disappointing to hear that we did not meet your expectations. I know the big confusion came from when it was originally being written that it was communicated, they were rental houses then finding out that you do stay in them on occasion which changes the policy type which comes with a different premium.
